Third Suspect Arrested in Horrific Murder of Baltimore Teen Arnesha Bowers

Police made a third arrest in the case of Arnesha Bowers, a Baltimore teen who was stalked, raped and murdered earlier this month. The Baltimore City Police Department arrested the first two suspects Adonay Dixon and Johns Childs and held a press conference on June 11.

Dixon and Childs’ confessions led police to their third suspect 14-year-old Raeshawn Rivers, who they brought in twice to give an account of what happened on June 7. Officials will try Rivers as an adult, on account of his heavy involvement in the crime. Police say Rivers confirmed Dixon and Childs’ confessions that the crime was tied to a gang initiation. Police added that Bowers hung out with the three suspects often, with Rivers being the closest to her.

Baltimore PD is currently working on an arrest of a fourth suspect. “Our investigation is never over. We’re gonna move heaven and earth to hold them responsible,” said Deputy Commissioner Kevin Davis.
