Texas Father Arrested, Suspected of Murdering His Daughter and Her Girlfriend

Last Wednesday, James Cosby, 46, was arrested in connection with the murder of his daughter, Britney, and her girlfriend Crystal Jackson. 

Authorities believe James Cosby bludgeoned his daughter to death and shot Jackson on March 6 before leaving their bodies in a dumpster near a convenience store in Port Bolivar, Texas. 

Britney Cosby's mother, Loranda McDonald, told KHOU that James Cosby had expressed his dissatisfaction with his daughter's sexuality.

The bodies were found near a Dumpster around 7:30 a.m. the next day.





Both women were 24 years old. Crystal Jackson is survived by her 5-year-old daughter.

James Cosby is currently being held in the Galveston County Jail on a total of $500,000.00 bonds.
